My site is new and unfinished. I'll update it often, so please come back to visit!
I'm a writer living in the Inland Northwest (Washington State, the dry part, nowhere near Seattle). I write fiction, non-fiction, technical stuff, and essays. To supplement my writing career, I work as a software engineer counting bits instead of words.
My passion is writing romance novels where I can share my core belief that every person on this planet has, somewhere, a loving (and very hot) soul mate. One who isn't incarcerated, married to another, or sought after by the IRS, the FBI, or the FTC.
My heroines are normal gals who are struggling to find the right guy. My hero is the kind of man who can make a woman blush, tingle, or switch to lowfat ice cream. He's not flawless, and the jury's still out on whether he can be brought home to meet the parents, but there's no doubt he'll help feed the cats.
I hope you'll revisit often...

I've learned tons about writing in the past several years. Below are
some of the books and websites that have helped me the most.
In no particular order, although the top two are my most favorite:
Self-Editing for Fiction Writers, Second Edition- How to Edit Yourself Into Print by Renni Browne and Dave King
Writing the Breakout Novel by Donald Maass
The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White
The First Five Pages- A Writer's Guide to Staying Out of the Rejection Pile by Noah Lukeman
Plot & Structure- (Techniques And Exercises For Crafting A Plot That Grips Readers From Start To Finish) (Write Great Fiction) by James Scott Bell
On Writing by Stephen King
How Not to Write a Novel- 200 Classic Mistakes and How to Avoid Them--A Misstep-by-Misstep Guide, by Howard Mittelmark and Sandra Newman
